Doncaster Racecourse is a racecourse in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It hosts two of Great Britain’s 31 Group 1 flat races, the St Leger Stakes and the Racing Post Trophy. The site is a unique leisure venue for horse racing, events, private parties, corporate hospitality, conference facilities and weddings.
With a busy schedule of racing and a large number of private and corporate events each year, Doncaster Racecourse re-quired a proactive Waste Management service that was both responsive and cost effective. Furthermore the site wished to divert waste from landfill at each opportunity.
Blue Castle Group contacted the racecourse keen to become a stratgeic partner and support the venue with their objectives

Without your commitment the event could not have been such a huge success. Again the event was blessed with great crowds and in general good weather. The event presented a number of challenges but everyone within the racecourse and external contractors pulled together to allow the St Leger Festival 2016 to be a magnificent occasion.

First and foremost it was essential to instruct a dedicated Account Manager to look after the Doncaster Racecourse account enabling a fast turn round for any changes to the waste schedule. Due to the sites size and fluctuating attendances it was key that in order for the relationship to be a success we needed our team to understand the customers needs and requirements.
The designated Account Manager visited the site and spent time understanding the clients waste needs and challanges
We also highlighted areas of potential innovation to further improve operations and costs
Following the site visit and intruction Blue Castle Group have ensured that Donacaster Racecourse receive the highest
stand-ards of service whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
