Having quickly proven our quality of service since working with Doncaster Racecourse over number of years, we were highly recommended during the development phase of the latest addition to the Hilton portfolio premium hotels and soon became the sole contractor to consult with a view to offer innovative ways of implementing efficient waste management.
Dedicated Key Account Manager, Michael Woods and Supply Chain Manager Mark Allison audited the site to discuss and implement the best strategies for all areas of the hotel. auditing the Blue Castle team were able to identify and plan a tailored waste strategy that would allow the continuation of the premium service expected from the global chain. Moreover, support within the brand new 154 bedroom hotel will be ongoing to ensure that waste levels are managed and long term solutions are implemented to meet demand.
A flexible approach has allowed the hotel to utilise containers as and when they need them as opposed to being restricted to a fixed contract & service. This has supported the hotel through both a busy opening and the hugely popular St. Leger Festival. As part of our partnership, Blue Castle Group will introduce; CIWM approved training, signage back of house supporting the team to segregate and regular site visits from the team to assist with long term objectives. Blue Castle Group will also closely monitor waste levels and introduce technology such as food digesters and glass crushers when appropriate
